It's all about Jesus. That why we are here and why we meet regularly each week in Prahran and through the city of Melbourne in our homes and workplaces. St Matts is a community of people who love sharing ordinary life in and through the goods news of Jesus. Whether you are already convinced that there is no greater joy and no deeper delight, or whether you are just curious - our prayer is that St Matts and its network of gospel communities will be of some spiritual benefit to you. More than anything else we want you see God grow wholehearted worshippers of Jesus in gospel community.
So if you’re already a Christian, St Matt’s is a place to grow in faith, hope, love and service. If you aren’t, it’s somewhere to explore the Christian faith in a low-stress, friendly atmosphere with no pressure.
We meet every Sunday at 10.00am and 5.00pm, as well as during the week in gospel communities
We also run a midweek drop-in centre for those who need a little extra help to make ends meet. Whether it’s a food parcel or just a cup of coffee and a chat, we try to help people navigate life’s twists and turns.
