Congratulations on your engagement! 

We see our role in your marriage  as not only helping on the day, but more importantly preparing you for a lifetime of faithful and fruitful union. 

We think very highly of marriage and very highly of Jesus, and  we are keen for you to see the relationship between the two - so our preparation for marriage incorporates this as well as practical relational dynamics.

Think of it as both a spiritual exploration for your marriage as well as an investment in healthy relating.  

There is also the usual legal paperwork that is required by the Commonwealth Government. In other words it's more than a building hire and more than prep for a day  - and  hopefully helpful and useful for a lifetime together. 

so what does it cost you? basically 4  meetings and $300. 

• Three preparation sessions 
• Rehearsal
• Wedding
• All paperwork
• Lighting / Heating etc

The fee does not include flowers or musicians.
The celebration, whilst unique and personalised, needs to be informed and shaped by the Anglican service of marriage - and led by one of our pastors. 
Weddings are not conducted on Sundays or during Easter or Christmas weeks. Most other days &  times are available (at least one months notice must be given).

Before ringing to make an appointment, please come and look through the glass doors of our church to see what the building looks like.

St Matthew’s is no longer a 1000 seat Blue Stone church (that’sjust the front on High Street). The church, since a fire in 1982, has had a ‘modern’ make over and now seats about 120 comfortably. (See Photo)
