by faithfully engaging in our local culture with the gospel, helping people to be included into Christ and his community, and helping each other to know,treasure and serve Jesus for the renewal of our city, God's glory and our joy. 

Our Vision and Mission are supported by four Values (or Pillars):

Discipleship. St Matt's is a Church which enables people to grow in maturity and service of Christ through faithful teaching, training , accountability and supporting in ministry.

Prayer. St Matt's is a Church where it's people pray regularly, giving thanks to God and bringing their every need before Him.

Outreach. St Matt's is a Church where it's people are passionate and committed to sharing the gospel and who rejoice as lives are transformed by Christ.

Care. St Matt's is a Church with a culture of caring for each other in which everyone is affirmed as worthwhile - "belonging".
